About Us

5% of all One Ocean apparel net profits are donated toward keeping our oceans clean. We also organize and host volunteer beach cleanups regularly. We have also partnered with a handful of local organizations to form: Cape Ann Maritime Partnership or C.A.M.P for short. Our partnerships mission is to keep local harbors clean by installing and maintaining marine debris skimmers.
We also often do 100% donation charity items. For example our 'Love City Strong' shirts benefit St. John U.S.V.I Hurricane Relief.

At One Ocean being a green, environmentally friendly business whenever possible is more than just a goal. It is our lifestyle. All clothing tags, shopping bags, and printing paper are made from recycled material. Heck, even our retail shops use toilet paper made from recycled materials! We ship using ecoenclose poly mailers that are also made of recycled material, can be used more than once with dual adhesive strips, and can be recycled after its final use! If you receive a package from our online store please don't forget to reuse our mailers! We are also big advocates of reducing single use plastics in our daily life and sell products in our shop to help people reduce their consumption.

We make our clothing and accessories using hand-carved linoleum blocks. We spend hours designing and carving each block to create our one of a kind prints. Once the blocks image is carved, fabric ink is rolled onto the block evenly using a tool called a brayer. The block is then pressed onto the clothing and hung to dry for 1-3 days depending on humidity. We do this process for each and every shirt making them truly one of a kind..

We print out clothing using screen prints that are hand drawn and or digitally edited by us! It is then printed onto a transfer paper. Once our screen is finished, fabric ink is spread evenly across the top, then flashed dried! This process allows us to produce at a faster rate than block printing.
